Hospital register, 1891-1898.

This register provides a daily record of prisoners treated at the penitentiary hospital. Information recorded includes the prisoner's name, the disease or injury treated, the treatment administered, and a notation as to whether the prisoner was treated in the hospital or as an outpatient. The most common diseases recorded are consumption, syphillis, and pneumonia.
